Daniella is a double HBCU graduate who eventually went on to become a successful attorney and entrepreneur.  She hails from Youngstown, OH but eventually left behind the United States of America and relocated to West Africa, specifically Nigeria. Daniella grew up in one of America’s poorest cities and experienced firsthand what poverty does to a person, a family, and a child.

Once finished with her degrees she sought out a way to give back to her community on a large scale and that’s how this nonprofit was formed. My Ancestor’s Dream was officially founded in 2019 but has been engaging in community action and activism since 2007. Daniella firmly believes and lives out “To whom much is given, much is required.” She works tirelessly to be able to provide food for children in Africa, information and education to minority students across the globe, and even finds time to mentor our youth.
